The Weekly Feminist News Mashup is a new segment that, as indicated by the title, will be a weekly feature that addresses some of the news which has not been addressed by Feminist Elizabethan and that has occurred in the past week. With that said, the following is our very first Weekly Feminist News Mashup.

• Ohio cops arrested preteens and a pregnant woman at a pool and one preteen suffered a fractured jaw and broken ribs.
• Miley Cyrus launched #Instapride, a campaign that strives to increase awareness by promoting LGBTI stories.
• Woman receives complaint that her yard to “relentlessly gay” so she raises money to make her yard even more “relentlessly gay.”
• Ruby Rose from Orange Is The New Black and her stance on gender and gender roles (clue – Rose is gender fluid).
• Rachel Dolezal and whitewashing Black issues.
• A photography series of China’s last bound feet.
• Alabama police department knowingly employs White supremacists, this is not a surprise to anyone.
